Summer Plans

Shari and I just sat down to layout our plan of action for the summer.  What to grow, where to grow, how to grow.  A big push this year along with lavender will be to grow sunflowers.  We tried a patch last year and they were beautiful.  This year we found some that will make wonderful bouquets.  These are more exotic and different from the traditional, bicolored, red, all yellow.  We are excited to grow these as they are easy to grow and easy to sell at the farm markets.  Also a nice addition to the lavender.  We are also looking at growing baby's breath as when I made Shari's wedding bouquet this past October it looked beautiful mixed with the dark purple of the lavender varieties we have.
