Lavender Homefries

Lavender Homefries

Sunday morning breakfasts on the farm aren't complete without these tasty potatoes.
2 medium potatoes
1/2 - 1 tsp of Purple Dog Lavender Buds
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Cube the potatoes retaining the skin
  2. Place in small frying pan with butter, oil and lavender buds
  3. Once pan is heated on medium heat cover and stir periodically for about 20 minutes till tender
  4. Last 5 minutes I uncover the potatoes and let them crisp up and brown nicely
