Sunday Morning

Stir the coals from last night's fire
Add a few pieces of kindling and a log or two
Make coffee, feed the dogs, cats and then
Out to feed the horses and
Grab our eggs for the ritual Sunday morning omlettes

Sip a cup, answer an email or two
Put "Keb Mo" on the tunes and get the omlettes started
Onions, mushrooms sizzling
Diced potatoes cooking


Jam from the garden, cider from the trees
Another cup of coffee all on a winter’s day
