Roadside Stand

One thing you learn in this business is start small and grow -whether it is a plant, a garden, or the business.  We sell at farm markets, local shops and now by the road in front of our house.  We dream of one day having a permanent structure where people can come and buy the products of our small homestead.  Until we have that structure other things will have to do.  Two friends of ours, Gary and Ed ,who are antique dealers down the road, needed room in their shop and offered this cart for us to do something with.   I replaced the wheels, built sides for the cart as well as handles and now it is a proper push cart up by the road for us to sell our wares from. Not much of the original cart exists, but it sure looks pretty!

Would love to see your pink, blue and white lavenders when they are in full bloom. I grew different coloured lavenders when I was living and working in the UK.
Great that you are living the dream. I am just beginning mine by blogging about all things lavender and hopefully now I am back home in Australia, will be able to start growing lavenders again.

Thanks for sharing Patricia. Isn't it great to be able to share in each others dreams?
